Not long ago, the daily reality of the emergency ward at the hospital in Dziekanów Leśny meant repeating the same conversations over and over. Patients would describe their symptoms to the nurse, and then – from the beginning – to the doctor. „You'd come back frustrated, having to say everything all over again” – one doctor admits.

The problem wasn't lack of diligence. The data flow resulted from medical documentation that typically captured only the most essential information. „At this pace it was hard to record everything accurately while remaining fully focused on the patient” – he explains.

The breakthrough came with the Cora AI voice-to-text pilot. „At first we were sceptical – it was a new tool, we had to get used to it” – he recalls. But results came quickly. „In the wards where we use this tool, click time dropped by over 25 percent. Not in a future report – in practice, right now” – he emphasises.

The biggest change is in the relationship with the patient. „Finally I can look them in the eyes. Listen, react, empathise. The system records everything automatically so I can focus on what I hear and what I see” – he says with conviction.

During examinations, the voice assistant captures precisely what is needed – without rushing.

„It gives an enormous sense of calm – both for us and for patients” – he adds. „They no longer have to repeat the same information over and over, and I don't have to battle the keyboard during every appointment”.

Today the doctor makes no secret of his satisfaction. „I am absolutely convinced by this solution. It is real help, not a gadget” – he says. The hospital is already planning expanding the system to additional wards. „If technology can reduce bureaucracy while improving the quality of care – that is exactly the direction we should be heading” – he concludes.
